GCAA supports the U.S. Census Complete Count Committees Program
Complete Count Committees (CCC) are forming across the state of Georgia to spread the word about the importance of the 2020 Census. Their primary goal is to motivate every resident in their community to complete the 2020 Census questionnaire. Governor Nathan Deal created the Governor’s Complete Count Committee in November of 2017. Some of the key dates include:
February 2018
Participation materials mailed to registered participants. Participants have 120 calendar days from the receipt of materials to complete their review.
August 2019
Feedback materials offered to participants with the results of Address Canvassing.
April 1, 2020
Census Day. The Census Bureau relies on a complete and accurate address list to reach every living quarters and associated population for inclusion in the census.
