T/TA & Capacity Building

GCAA offers a diverse range of professional development courses and training sessions designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of staff within Community Action Agencies (CAAs) and Public Entities. This is paramount to support the delivery of high-quality services to low-income individuals and families.

To facilitate effective program implementation and service delivery, GCAA provides technical assistance to CAAs and Public Entities, guiding them through operational, programmatic, and compliance-related complexities.

Recognizing the need for resilient and adaptable organizations, GCAA engages in capacity building to enhance the ability of CAAs to respond to the changing needs of the communities they serve.

GCAA assists member agencies in accessing a variety of funding sources, including federal, state, and local grants, and private donations to ensure a stable and resourceful environment for poverty-alleviation efforts.

To keep all member agencies abreast of relevant issues, GCAA compiles and disseminates critical information on social, economic, and legislative matters that impact poverty reduction efforts.

GCAA builds and maintains strategic partnerships with a broad spectrum of stakeholders, including volunteers, lawmakers, and community organizations, to leverage resources and expertise that contribute to eliminating poverty. 

Committed to excellence, GCAA incorporates continuous quality improvement processes across member agencies, ensuring that services provided to the community adhere to the highest standards, are effective, and consistently refined to meet the best outcomes.
